Ethan's First Hair Cut

Nate and I LOVE Ethan's hair...
Shiny white blond...
You can see him coming from a mile away...
We love how crazy it gets...
Between bed head,
the food he smears in his hair and
the very fine baby hair...
It is nothing short of C-R-A-Z-Y!!
But it is so unique with his
crystal blue eyes and olive tan skin...
And when it is tamed
he looks so dang cute
with his little curly q curls at the back...
 I could just die!

However...

The time came!

His bangs started to fall into his eyes...
So...I got the scissors out and with just a few snips,
I cut his bangs...

That is all I am doing for now!

What a sweet little fella!
Now I am the official hair cutter of Ethan and Nate...
Toddy will soon follow!!!

Clovermead

One of my most favorite places to take my kids is to...

Clovermead Honey Bee and Adventure Farm!

Ethan loves this place and I so do I...
I just love the rustic, wholesome, country feel...

This place is really cool...
It makes me want to live on the farm again...
Ethan's favorite things to do here are...
The giant yellow jumping pillow,
The Black Hole Slide, The wagon and train rides,
The barn animals...especially chasing the cats...
the peacocks, turkeys, ducks and chickens are cool too.
He loves the Zip line, pedal go karts and
The giant sands box with the
big back hoes and front loaders...

They have hilarious signs that have "Bee" in them,
hanging up all around the farm...
One that I can recall that hangs up
 in the washroom saids...

"If you sprinkle
When you tinkle,
Bee a sweetie, and
Wipe the seatie"

Some snapshots I got on our last visit about a month ago!

An Update on Toddy

Baby Toddy is now 9 moNtHs...

Over the past couple months we have seen quite a
few changes that tell us that our baby Todd is growing up (sniff, sniff)

Our little man is walking...He is up to at least 10 steps without falling now..
He babbles, plays chase with Ethan, feeds himself,
loves playing in the hot tub and having baths,
He loves the Jolly Jumper, playing with the dogs, and
destroying Ethan's train tracks (that goes over so well).

He loves to be cuddled, He loves the outdoors,
he loves playing with his older brother.
My favorite is when they play chase around the house...
Todd loves music and laughing and
loves to smile when Mommy or Daddy acts goofy.

Toddy loves when mommy feeds him milk,
He loves to be wrapped in comfy blankets,
and he loves his green Soothie SueSue!

He still doesn't care for his car seat, or crib for that matter...
He comes alive at 10pm...And off and on through the night!
(That goes over quite well too..haha)

We love this baby so much...
He sure keeps us on our toes!
His sweet little personality is so amazing...
Toddy you are so special,
We are so blessed to call you our son!
You brighten our days (and nights?)

We love you!

Decorating for Halloween

On October 1st...
Ethan, Todd and I went to the dollar store to
get some spooky decorations for the front of our house!

Halloween is a favorite for me...
When I was little I loved dressing up
and of course trick or treating...
My most fond memory was sorting through my
bag of candy with my brother and sister
at the end of the night on our living room floor...
We would compare, trade and sort.
I would divide my candy into piles...
chip bags, suckers, rockets, chocolate bars...
I even remember having a "yucky candy" pile
that mostly consisting of those
orange and black wrapper candies...Remember those?

This year I have a really good idea for Ethan's costume...
If I can find a child's white lab coat...
Then think "Back to the Future" and just look at his hair...
Can you guess??

Ethan picked 2 scary rats at the dollar store...
He loves his rats and plays with them everyday!
We still need to get some pumpkins to finish our front off
and maybe a few stocks of corn.

When I was little I use to always make a scarecrow
to sit on our front porch...Sometimes I would make
our front yard into a cemetery...
Yup I went all out (haha)!
That with spooky music on Oct 31st...
I thought it was pretty cool!
FUN TIMES lol
