Mommies Group Halloween Party

Suzzette hosted a Mommies group Halloween Party!
I thought this was a great idea so I....
booked some time off work to attend with Ethan.
It was fun for Ethan and I to see all our friends again.
Three of the moms in our mommies group are pregnant again...
we are due within weeks of each other.
It is crazy to think that soon our group will have three more little members!
Very exciting times!
Anyways we had a really fun morning together...
It was cute to see all the babes dressed up!

Ethan seemes to love his costume...
He didn't even try to pull his hat off!

This picture makes me laugh...Poor Ethan can't see past his beak!

We kept trying for the perfect picture...
It was funny trying to get 5 little ones to pose for a picture at the same time!

Halloween Party at the Church

I bought this Elmo sleeper/costume a while ago because it is so cute to me....
I forgot about it in his closet but found it just in time to get some use out of it for Halloween.
It is not Ethan's Halloween Day costume because it is not warm enough but
he still got a chance to wear it! Luckily it just fit him!

There is a button on the belly that makes Elmo's laugh...
Ethan thought this feature was pretty neat!

It's Troy
We had a 2nd ward YW and YM pumpkin carving contest

Avery Witch

Emma may kill me for putting this one up!

We had a fun little party...The youth carved pumpkins,
we judged costumes and watched the "Thriller Video"....
Of course we had some treats too!

I didn't have time to dress up so I decided I
would be a pregnant mom for Halloween (hehe).
I am in my 31st week here!

Embracing the Cool Wet Day!

This morning I was brave and decided to face the cool, wet weather with Ethan and the dogs. Our weather this week has been disappointing...quite wet and cool so we have all stayed indoors waiting it out.  However this morning the waiting game was over as both Ethan and the dogs were getting a little stir crazy being cooped up indoors. So out came the rain boots and winter coats for some playtime outdoors.

Ethan was so excited to go outside...Over the past couple of months Ethan will show his enthusiasm for things he likes and wants to do by saying "Ya while nodding his head and laughing hysterically...It is so cute! Today we put on the spider man rain boots for our play outside...They are still a little big but they do the job...At first Ethan wasn't too sure how to walk in them and fell a couple of times...but after some time got the hang of it! I think he likes his rain boots!

My friend a few doors down sells lots of different styles of crochet hats...I got Ethan an owl (see pictures below) and sock monkey hat...they are darling and I love it when he wears them!

Ethan and Miles

Ethan loves to play in the puddles at the curb!

Once inside...Ethan's poor little hands felt like icicles...
Out with the mittens!
I had fun getting some fresh air this morning with Ethan and quite truthfully we had fun being outside in the less then gorgeous weather...I remembered today that I can still have fun outside even if it is not nice out!  As a kid I played outside everyday and never really cared how beautiful the weather was.  No more keeping Ethan in on rainy, cool days...We are going to embrace outside each day...Beautiful weather or not! Because my brain needs fresh air, and Ethan loves going outside!

I have just decided that next time it rains I am going to put on mine and Ethan's rain jacket and boots and stomp in the puddles with my sweet little man because it is fun!

Our Thanksgiving Weekend

Our Thanksgiving weekend was absolutely beautiful...The weather was scrumptious...sunshine, blue sky, crisp mornings and toasty afternoons.  I loved being able to have our windows wide open to allow in the fresh Autumn air...mmmm...There is nothing better then the sweet scent of fall (OK maybe I am exaggerating a little)...I love looking at the trees changing color in our backyard. Fall is defiantly one of my favorite seasons.

Our Thanksgiving weekend was busy...but full of fun...We had a couple of family gatherings and dinners...In addition Saturday morning Shayna moved out of our house and into her new home, we went apple picking at Apple Land and on Thanksgiving day Nathan, Ethan and  I went for a country adventure to enjoy the beautiful fall scenery...stopping for pictures in a corn field, and going for a walk around Sharon Creek.

Some pictures of our weekend below!

A highlight of the evening was our little ham Ethan...He loved all the attention
He put on quite a show for all our guests...
He was a trooper and stayed up until 10pm...
Aunty Karen tried to put him down but he wanted to stay up...
So we let him!
Luckly he slept in the next morning til 10am...
Yes we have a good little sleeper on our hands!
