Cottage 2011 - Post #1

Wow this summer has been really busy...I can't believe Fall is here...back to school brings the end of summer.With all the hustle and bustle of summer I am finally finding some time to update our family blog.  So many fond memories we want to remember, cherish and share. All in all it has been a really fun and crazy summer!

Ethan is at a really fun age and is able to enjoy more and more everyday...so we had a blast experiencing this summer with him. I think Ethan's favorite part about this summer was the cottage/beach, summer walks, and of course the park.

It is a family tradition to spend a week each summer at a cottage...When I was younger we use to do this every now and then...About 5 years ago we started making the cottage a much anticipated family tradition. We all look forward to cottage time. This year we were at a new spot (next door to the cottage we use to rent...However this one is a lot more luxurious. At the beginning of August the family headed to Grand Bend for a week of relaxation, sunshine and family bonding.  We had such a good time (like always). We loved the new spot...It was perfect and we all had a blast...I will let the pictures speak for themselves!

 We could not have asked for better weather...We had a couple days of huge waves...

The kids (and adults) had fun riding the waves.

Ethan loved the beach and sand...He did really well...only a few times did he try to eat the sand!

His favorite was digging holes with Markus and Jessica.

He was not scared of the water at all...Which made me a little nervous!
